The Central Valley is home to a lot of great water. The best way to explore a new area is to hook up with the local paddling club. They will offer local information on the area, as well as an opportunity to hook up with some great people. The goal of this page is to create awareness for the local clubs in the Central Valley and create more paddling opportunities for YOU the paddler.

Nor Cal Kayak Anglers- The largest most active group of Kayak Anglers in Northern CA. Their forum is loaded with good information, local trips, events, and all around nice people! If you are even thinking of fishing from a kayak get on the forum and introduce yourself. You will be amazed at the positive response.

Sacramento Sea Kayakers- Another Yahoo Group based paddle club out of Sacramento. They also have a monthly meeting where they have guest speakers, games, and presentations. They are a well-organized group with lots of fun outings. They paddle all sorts of waters, and as the name suggest they mainly paddle Sea Kayaks. Sac Yakkers- A fun loving group of kayakers based out of Sacramento, with a more the merrier approach to paddling. They paddle all over the Central Valley and Sierra’s. They are also a Meetup Group with a $15 membership. They are one of the most active and laid back groups of paddlers you will find. All boat types are welcome. Sacramento Paddle Pushers- Another Sac based Meetup Group. Open to anyone at any skill level. They welcome newcomers and do their best to help people progress in kayaking. In addition to their kayak outings, you may also see a group hiking trip now and again. These are very nice people and they offer a lot of great paddling opportunities.
